A two-in-one tech pouch and sling with a removable strap, magnetic divider fence, and rigid EVA foam structure. Designed to protect your tech in true Mous fashion.
Key facts
Mous wanted a standalone sling and tech organiser for the Extreme Commuter. Not a pouch that clips on. A product that works independently with a removable strap, then slots into the backpack.
The challenge was making that dual identity feel natural. Most pouches doing two things do neither well. This one needed rigid structure for protection, proper tech organisation, and a clean sling profile.
The design started with dual-use. As a sling, it sits comfortably with a clean profile. Inside the backpack, it organises tech without bulk. Those two modes drove everything.
A magnetic divider fence creates separate zones for devices and cables. Folds flat when not needed. Internal pockets sized for what users carry: charging brick, cables, earbuds, USB hub, cards. Everything has a place.
The removable strap clips cleanly on and off. Attached, it's a sling. Removed, it drops into the Extreme Commuter clean.

The EVA foam panelling gives rigid structure that holds shape and protects tech. Protection's not optional in a Mous product. The foam weight balanced rigidity with sling wearability.
The magnetic divider fence was complex. Had to hold firm enough to partition devices, but release easily and fold flat. Magnet placement took several iterations to get the hold strength right.
The pouch uses the same 840D Carbonated Nylon as the Extreme Commuter. Material consistency matters. Interior is 210D nylon, dark pouches make dark cables invisible. Light contrast lining makes a real difference in use.
The tech pouch is a smaller product than the backpacks in the Extreme Commuter range, but the EVA foam panelling, magnetic divider, and strap attachment points add manufacturing complexity. Pocket placement tolerances are tight. The magnet positioning has to be precise enough that the divider fence holds cleanly and releases consistently.
Production ran at the same partner facilities as the backpacks, across Indonesia. The team already understood the YKK zip standards and the inspection process. QC focus: zip function, strap clip attachment, magnet alignment, EVA bonding, and internal pocket placement.

Mous Tech Pouch
The tech pouch gave the Extreme Commuter range a logical companion that works as a product in its own right. As a sling, it carries independently. As a pouch, it slots into the backpack. Two use cases, one SKU, and a genuine reason to buy alongside the hero product.
The rigid EVA structure and magnetic divider fence give it the protection credentials Mous is known for, while the removable strap and clean internal organisation make it practical enough to use daily.
